Jarraff Industries recently finished a 20,000-square-foot addition to its main assembly building, which adds three new manufacturing lines and as many as 30 new jobs!! The project included a new paint booth and numerous equipment upgrades. The finished expansion, encompasses 35,000 square feet of new building space, a dedicated 10,000-square-foot parts and service building and a 5,000-square-foot finished machine storage facility. CAD Design Technician – FT
Our CAD Design Tech will utilizes CAD to incorporate designs into the manufacturing process and equipment to provide support to engineers by preparing concepts, layouts, detail drawings, assembly drawings, sketches and diagrams. Details to include all views and dimensions necessary for manufacture and/or prototyping. Makes copies of drawings and maintains information regarding changes to database. Makes decision based on best practice processes. Has a solid understanding of drafting techniques and familiarity with engineering terminology, possesses mechanical aptitude with ability to complete basic mathematical calculations. Has familiarity with CAD software and ability to apply skills. Handle continuous improvement changes to CAD models and engineering drawings to keep product information current. Improve accuracy of existing CAD models within Solidworks as well as model new ideas working from concept to production. Ability to create BOM’s to communicate to other department within the company for manufacturing.
Typical job duties include: Proficient in Solidworks 3D CAD Software (Solidworks Essentials and others are a plus), Handle complex design and drafting assignments under minimal supervision, Ability to look at changes in manufacturing setting and transfer into a CAD based model to communicate changes, Work closely with other Drafters, Designers and Engineers to ensure efficient design effort is maintained, Identify potential design issues early in the conceptual phases prior to production release, Review drawings for completeness and accuracy, Develop 3D models by analyzing prototypes, sketches and 2D drawings, Competent in piece parts to large assemblies and structuring BOMs, Provide technical assistance and solutions to the team, Participate in Engineering Project meetings and conference calls as required, Interaction with suppliers to specify components or design requirements, Create manual/service drawings to Service Department and Tech Support.
Position requirements include: Associate’s Technical Degree in CAD or Equal, 4+ years’ experience in CAD Drafting/Design with 1000+ Hours, Solidworks Professional Certification is a plus and Drafting experience in Solidworks and File Management with EPDM a plus.

Warranty Specialist: FT
Our Warranty Specialist will engage in all warranty related operations within the customer service group including Parts Sales, Technical support and outgoing shipping. This individual will also focus on warranty prevention, claim reduction, cost savings and customer relations.
Typical job duties include: Provide customer with claims and claim status updates, manages, abides by, and enforces warranty activity based on Jarraff industries, Inc. warranty policy but understands when to escalate a customer claim within the company, review repair orders and approve expenses to be paid as appropriate. may confirm or deny a claims, communicates the need of warranty and customer support with quality, production, engineering and purchasing regarding any issues related to defects in materials or workmanship, upload photos as needed for warranty parts, build files, travelers, customer invoices, repair orders and any other pertinent information to the claim, focuses on warranty reduction efforts to improve product quality and profitability, answers phones, emails and orders regarding incoming warranty claims in a positive, professional manner, educates customers about the warranty policy changes and answer questions, prepares records, reconciles equipment warranty claims and communicates back to the customer, creates reports on customer interactions, warranty claims, and related statistics, participates in Engineering design review meetings to ensure all specifications meet customer expectations, meets with the respective manager on a weekly basis to review open warranty items, potential warranty concerns in current design, new development, and data analysis, works with suppliers on warranty returns while managing inspection documentation and credits, maintains warranty payments, schedules and submits monthly data to respective manager for review, meets warranty cost reduction goals as determined by the respective manager and employee, maintains open communication with respective manager to ensure goals are being met.
Position requirements include: Technical Degree preferred in Manufacturing, Five (5) or more years of warranty experience preferably in hydraulics, diesel maintenance, and/or heavy equipment repair. Ability to establish and maintain excellent customer service with the Company’s customers, have or has the ability to gain technical knowledge of hydraulics, engine, powertrain, HVAC and electrical diagnosis and repair, experience with quality practices, business knowledge and computer skills required. Ability to establish and maintain excellent customer service with the company’s customers, work in office and shop environment as required, minimal travel is expected for this position.

Fabrication Supervisor : FT
Our Fabrication Supervisor will be responsible for the day-to-day supervision of the fabrication building which includes: Coordination, Planning and scheduling all activities related to welding and paint.
Typical job duties include: Coordinate an plan resources to achieve production schedule, service needs and company goals, Participate in regular communications with management team on schedule attainment, resource needs and physical plant/equipment repairs, Hold associates accountable for work quality and performance, Assist floor associates in resolving production issues and problem solving, Lead regularly scheduled shop floor meetings, Maintain a clean and safe plant, Conduct employee performance reviews for associates, Initiate or authorize employee hire, promotion, discharge or transfer, Ensure company policies and procedures are maintained and other duties as assigned.
Position requirements include: Associate Degree (A.A.) from 2-year College or Technical School, 5-10 years related supervisor experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience with supervisory responsibility, Knowledge of Manufacturing as well as fabrication/welding and paint experience. This position works in a shop environment, may involve lifting up materials and product up to 50 lbs, Working in this environment requires the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to eye safety glasses and safety shoes. Assembly Associate: FT
The purpose of this job is to assemble Jarraff Tree Trimming and right of way clearing equipment.
Typical job duties include, working with schematics, blue print drawings, or other data to assemble components according to specifications, holds the ability to problem solve, assists with assemble and sub-assemblies of equipment, reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor, maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations, completes tasks as directed by manufacturing schedules with minimum supervision.
Position requirements include: 2-year technical degree with hydraulics system knowledge, 2+ years manufacturing experience, knowledge of manufacturing processes, work measurement, quality assurance, shop routing, blueprints and math. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is working in a shop environment and must be able to lift up to 50-lbs.
