For over 30 years Jarraff Industries had been providing utility and tree maintenance contractors high quality, innovative equipment they need to safely and efficiently clear land and maintain utility right of way throughout the world. Jarraff Industries recently broke ground on a 20,000-square-foot addition to its main assembly building, which will add three new manufacturing lines and as many as 30 new jobs when completed late in 2018!! The project already includes a new paint booth and numerous equipment upgrades. When complete, it will encompass 35,000 square feet of new building space, a dedicated 10,000-square-foot parts and service building and a 5,000-square-foot finished machine storage facility.

We currently have the following FT positions open:


Assembly Associate: FT

Assembly Associates are mechanically inclined, fast learners, and produce Jarraff All-Terrain Tree-Trimmers along with the Geo-boy Brush Cutter product. Typical job duties include putting together assemblies and sub-assemblies, reading prints, handling parts, and lifting up to 50 lbs. Ideal candidates would have previous heavy equipment manufacturing experience along with the desire to work in a team setting. Position requirements include a High School Diploma/GED. Preferred experience includes 1+ years in a manufacturing setting.

Buyer: FT

The Buyer compiles and maintains records of business transactions and offices activities, of the organization by performing the following: Responsible for purchasing parts and services to support the production of finished goods and service components, Manages part deliveries and reschedules incoming shipments to meet production demand, Responsible for quoting existing and new components with suppliers, Works directly with suppliers to obtain product or service information such as price, availability and delivery schedule, Receives and contacts vendors to find out status of orders, Purchases supplies and reviews requisitions, Performs data entry of all purchase orders, Assists other departments when required, Contacts vendors with discrepancies with quantity and quality, Interfaces with all departments and resolves problems and issues as necessary, Helps develop and support the company’s inventory tracking system. Ideal candidates are highly motivated and dependable, Technical Capacity, Organizational Skills, Communication Proficiency, Customer/Client Focus, Time Management, Problem Solving, Collaboration Skills. Position requirements include a High School Diploma/GED and a Four-Year Bachelor degree OR APICS or NAPM certification.

Parts & Service Specialist: FT

Our Parts and Service Specialist will be responsible for coordinating and administering activities of Jarraff parts sales and Service. This individual will ensure delivery of excellent customer service through fast and accurate processing of parts orders, communication, and coordinating with other departments to resolve inquires, Technical knowledge of manufacturing processes/procedures/tooling, product flow, and Quality practices; business knowledge and good customer service skills required. Establish and maintain good customer service. Good oral and written communication skills, ability to direct and/or influence the work of others, and ability to successfully delegate tasks. Typical job duties include, Solicits orders from customers by phone, internet or in person, Recommends and sells equipment/parts and services utilizing knowledge of machine capabilities and limitations, Quotes parts prices, Works with customers to troubleshoot and diagnose problems and recommends solutions to resolve, Processes customer orders on a timely basis in order to meet customer needs and expectations, Coordinates repairs and repair facilities, Communicates field issues and warranty issues to all affected departments, Handles all the logistics of equipment and part sales, Inventories stock and reorders when inventories drop to specified level, Works with production employees in resolving and answering questions, Analyze part sales for trends and makes recommendations accordingly, Be available for customer visits as needed.  Position requirements include a High school Diploma or GED, 3-5 years experience. Preferred requirements include, BS Degree in Engineering – Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing or advanced degree.
