For over 30 years Jarraff Industries had been providing utility and tree maintenance contractors high quality, innovative equipment they need to safely and efficiently clear land and maintain utility right of way throughout the world. Jarraff Industries recently broke ground on a 20,000-square-foot addition to its main assembly building, which will add three new manufacturing lines and as many as 30 new jobs when completed late in 2018!! The project already includes a new paint booth and numerous equipment upgrades. When complete, it will encompass 35,000 square feet of new building space, a dedicated 10,000-square-foot parts and service building and a 5,000-square-foot finished machine storage facility.

We currently have the following FT positions open:


Assembly Associate: FT

Assembly Associates are mechanically inclined, fast learners, and produce Jarraff All-Terrain Tree-Trimmers along with the Geo-boy Brush Cutter product. Typical job duties include putting together assemblies and sub-assemblies, reading prints, handling parts, and lifting up to 50 lbs. Ideal candidates would have previous heavy equipment manufacturing experience along with the desire to work in a team setting. Position requirements include a High School Diploma/GED. Preferred experience includes 1+ years in a manufacturing setting.

Welding Associate: FT

Our welding Associates are independent workers, have excellent attention to detail, and produce all fabricated components to support the production of Jarraff All-Terrain Tree-Trimmers along with the Geo-boy Brush Cutter product. Typical job duties include welding assemblies and sub-assemblies along with cutting and drilling parts. Ideal candidates are highly motivated and dependable. Position requirements include a High School Diploma/GED and lifting up to 50 lbs on a regular basis. Preferred experience includes AA degree in welding or equivalent in previous welding experience.

Water Spider: FT

Our Water Spider Associate will be responsible for compiling and maintaining material, parts inventory and status information to expedite movement of material and parts between production areas while keeping work stations fully stocked with material, thus controlling the continuous flow of productivity by performing the following duties. Typical job duties include, Stock Assembly lines/Associates with required parts daily, build small service assemblies as needed, Assist with on campus material handling and movement of parts, assist shipping/handling as needed, maintenance when needed, paint prep/wash as needed and be trained in loading sold units onto trucks, read production schedules, inventory report, and work orders to determine type and quantity of materials required, availability to stock and order priority, confers with department supervisors to determine overdue material and parts and to inform supervisors of material status.  This position will also move parts to various locations manually and by operating mechanical equipment, including fork lift, pallet jack and handcart. Performs other tasks or assignments as required. Ideal candidates would have Material handling experience along with the desire to work in a team setting. Position requirements include a Problem solving/Analysis, Collaboration, Team player, Initiative, Results Driven, Flexibility,  Technical Capacity and lift up to 50 lbs. Prefer 1+years experience in Material Handling. Must have excellent Customer Service and organizational skills with strong attention to details, Ability to plan and manage multiple projects.

AR/AP Clerk: FT

AP/AR Clerk will be responsible for compiling and maintaining account records as well as managing the day to day front desk operations such as answering the main phone line and greeting customers/visitors. Typical job duties include, applying customer payments, researches and solves payment discrepancies, process credit card payment and credits, making adjustments to accounts as needed, prepares daily deposits and weekly cash flow reports for Management, prepare and send out customer statements and invoices, reviews all invoices for appropriate documentation, approval and entry, Entering and tracking company utility invoices in excel, prints and obtains signatures on all accounts payable checks, distributes checks as required, answer all vendor inquiries, provide analysis on accounts as needed, performs other tasks and assignments as required to improve AP/AR accuracy, direct all phone calls to the proper locations, greet and direct all visitors as they walk through the door and performs filing and copying tasks. Ideal candidate should have previous AP/AR experience with problem solving/analysis, customer/client focus, ethical conduct, results driven flexibility and a team player. Position requirements include an Associates Degree in Accounting, 1 to 3 years previous experience in accounting, ability to plan, organize and manage multiple projects: strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and strong computation and organization skills, ability to handle sensitive and confidential information, strong knowledge of accounting principles and operate a 10-key calculator and perform data entry with speed and accuracy. Must be able to work in a team environment. This position has no supervisory responsibilities and operates in a clerical, office setting.


The purpose of this position is to paint Jarraff and Geo-Boy equipment and assemblies in order to protect them from the elements. Operates a spray painter or other equipment to apply industrial paint finishes on metals or products. Mixes paints and other solutions and monitors drying to ensure desired results. Completes finishing with baking, polishing or other materials. Follows all required safety procedures.  Typical job duties include, preparing equipment for paint by cleaning surfaces of parts and painting equipment/Machinery. Ideal candidates should possess a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. would have previous painting experience, problem solving, analyze and solve process problems associated with equipment. Position requirements include a High school Diploma or GED, 1-2 years.
