Jarraff Industries recently broke ground on a 20,000-square-foot addition to its main assembly building, which will add three new manufacturing lines and as many as 30 new jobs when completed late in 2018!! The project already includes a new paint booth and numerous equipment upgrades. When complete, it will encompass 35,000 square feet of new building space, a dedicated 10,000-square-foot parts and service building and a 5,000-square-foot finished machine storage facility. Digital Marketing Specialist: PT
Jarraff Industries is looking for a qualified part-time digital marketing specialist to join our growing team in St. Peter, MN. This individual will be responsible for leading and implementing our marketing efforts using new media digital tools: an d for supporting general marketing efforts. If you know how to creatively handle various online marketing tools, like websites, social media, and e-mail, this position is for you. You will work with the Jarraff management and sales teams and Jarraff’s advertising agency to coordinate our marketing, advertising and promotional activities.
Typical duties include, Manage the company’s website; including coordinating a complete redesign in 2019, coordinate content development and execute 25-30 direct marketing pieces per year, coordinate content development and execute daily social media posts (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, and LinkedIn), support the construction and maintenance of the company’s salesforce.com contact database, evaluate media efforts using best practice tools, e.g. Google Analytics and Pardot, seek out and acquire new sources for lead development, provide general marketing support as needed, e.g. trade show planning, etc., design digital media campaigns aligned with business goals, coordinate the creation of digital content (e.g. website, social media posts, direct e-mail), manage end-to-end digital projects, enhance our web presence to boost brand awareness, maintain a strong online company voice through social media, suggest and implement direct marketing methods to increase profitability, and stay up-to-date with digital media developments.
Position requirements include, Bachelor’s or Masters degree and/or five years’ experience in marketing preferred. Warranty Specialist: FT
Our Warranty Specialist will engage in all warranty related operations within the customer service group including Parts Sales, Technical support and outgoing shipping. This individual will also focus on warranty prevention, claim reduction, cost savings and customer relations.
Typical job duties include, Provide customer with claims and claim status updates, manages, abides by, and enforces warranty activity based on Jarraff industries, Inc. warranty policy but understands when to escalate a customer claim within the company, review repair orders and approve expenses to be paid as appropriate. may confirm or deny a claims, communicates the need of warranty and customer support with quality, production, engineering and purchasing regarding any issues related to defects in materials or workmanship, upload photos as needed for warranty parts, build files, travelers, customer invoices, repair orders and any other pertinent information to the claim, focuses on warranty reduction efforts to improve product quality and profitability, answers phones, emails and orders regarding incoming warranty claims in a positive, professional manner, educates customers about the warranty policy changes and answer questions, prepares records, reconciles equipment warranty claims and communicates back to the customer, creates reports on customer interactions, warranty claims, and related statistics, participates in Engineering design review meetings to ensure all specifications meet customer expectations, meets with the respective manager on a weekly basis to review open warranty items, potential warranty concerns in current design, new development, and data analysis, works with suppliers on warranty returns while managing inspection documentation and credits, maintains warranty payments, schedules and submits monthly data to respective manager for review, meets warranty cost reduction goals as determined by the respective manager and employee, maintains open communication with respective manager to ensure goals are being met.
Position requirements include, Technical Degree preferred in Manufacturing, Five (5) or more years of warranty experience preferably in hydraulics, diesel maintenance, and/or heavy equipment repair. Ability to establish and maintain excellent customer service with the Company’s customers, have or has the ability to gain technical knowledge of hydraulics, engine, powertrain, HVAC and electrical diagnosis and repair, experience with quality practices, business knowledge and computer skills required. Ability to establish and maintain excellent customer service with the company’s customers, work in office and shop environment as required, minimal travel is expected for this position.

Our Welders will be responsible for welding and fabricating Geo-Boy brush-cutting equipment and Jarraff All-Terrain Tree-Trimmers. Typical job duties include, welding components for both productions and service as needed, interact with materials, operations, and quality functions, must analyze and solve process problems associated with machines and machine tool usage. Position requirements include, 2-yr technical degree in welding or equivalent in experience, Knowledge of manufacturing process, work measurement, quality assurance, shop routing, blueprints and math. This position works in a shop environment. This individual will possess the following competencies: Technical Capacity, Adaptability, Initiative, Time Management, Thoroughness, Learning Orientation, Problem Solving, Interpersonal skills, Work Quality and Attention to Detail.
Welder Group Lead: FT
Our Welding Group Lead will be responsible for working closely under the direction of the Production Manager to support daily production activities for the welding department. This role is the point of contact for the welding department, communicating and coordinating with both Assembly and Parts/Service for department needs. Typical job duties include, Welding components for both production and service as needed, responsible for communicating daily production performance, coordinates communication between Assembly and Parts/Service, Helps coordinate and support engineering changes, responsible for helping support training of new associates and other duties as needed. Position requirements include, 2-year Technical Degree in welding or equivalent in experience preferred, 2+ years welding experience and 2+ years of lead role or equivalent experience, Knowledge of manufacturing process, work measurement, quality assurance, shop routing’s, blue prints and math. This position works in a shop environment and works under the direction of Management. This individual will possess the following competencies: Relationships, Problem Solving, Adaptability, Initiative, Results Focus, Organization and Interpersonal Skills, Professional Demeanor and Confidentiality, Work Quality and Attention to Detail.
Assembly Associate: FT
The purpose of this job is to assemble Jarraff equipment. Typical job duties include, working with schematics, blue print drawings, or other data to assemble components according to specifications, holds the ability to problem solve, assists with assemble and sub-assemblies of equipment, reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor, maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations, completes tasks as directed by manufacturing schedules with minimum supervision. Position requirements include: 2-year technical degree with hydraulics system knowledge, 2+ years manufacturing experience, knowledge of manufacturing processes, work measurement, quality assurance, shop routing, blueprints and math. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is working in a shop environment and must be able to lift up to 50-lbs. This individual will possess the following competencies: Technical Capacity, Adaptability, Initiative, Time Management, Thoroughness, Learning Orientation, Problem Solving, Interpersonal Skills, Work Quality and Attention to Detail.
The Buyer compiles and maintains records of business transactions and offices activities, of the organization by performing the following: Responsible for purchasing parts and services to support the production of finished goods and service components, Manages part deliveries and reschedules incoming shipments to meet production demand, Responsible for quoting existing and new components with suppliers, Works directly with suppliers to obtain product or service information such as price, availability and delivery schedule, Receives and contacts vendors to find out status of orders, Purchases supplies and reviews requisitions, Performs data entry of all purchase orders, Assists other departments when required, Contacts vendors with discrepancies with quantity and quality, Interfaces with all departments and resolves problems and issues as necessary, Helps develop and support the company’s inventory tracking system.
Position requirements include: High School Diploma/GED and a Four (4) year Bachelor degree, or APICS or NAPM Certification.
